Biography and Journey
My life has brought me to work with the human energy field. The sensation of energy coursing through the body -- of blood circulating, breath expanding and nerves tingling – brought me to the exploration of human beings as expressions of energy “vibration.” I discovered how stress constricted the flow of this energy…how living in communion with others permeates the space with this energy, and how focusing this energy can release deep, old patterns.
When I earned a BA in Biology and an M.Ed in Allied Health., I learned that all particles of matter are in constant motion. This means the molecules and atoms, which make up the human body are always colliding, vibrating and moving. This helped me correlate the bodily sensation of energy with scientific principles. Understanding that energy and matter are both wave and particle, and that the acceleration of the waves and concentration of the particles causes material forms to manifest, I could explain the energetic nature of physical symptoms.
I studied with Reshad Feild, the author of Here to Heal, and learned the esoteric practices of breath, visualization, time, presence, focusing attention and intention. As a result, I began to intentionally awaken, circulate and focus energy.
I received the Basic and Advanced Certifications with the American Society of Dowsers. Dowsing skills can be employed to balance and clear earth energy, as well as human physical and emotional energy. This can be beneficial for the health and well being of my clients and their environment.
I discovered Polarity Therapy as a client. After receiving Polarity Therapy for six months, I recovered from a sudden onset of debilitating arthritis. During the first session, I felt the energy constrictions being released within my body. It was powerful, and it was real. The energy patterns in my body gradually realigned and balanced. I regained my health. This inspired me to study the science, philosophy and practice of Polarity Therapy. I obtained the Associate Polarity Practitioner Certification at the Atlanta School of Polarity and the Registered Polarity Practitioner Certification at the Ohio Institute of Energetic Studies.
In my practice as a Polarity Therapist, I use all of my life experiences and education to help my clients sense the energy flow within and around their bodies, while recognizing and releasing constrictions. This openness to energetic flow improves vitality, encourages healthy organs and tissues, allows more flexibility, and clarifies insight needed for improved health.
